When you decide to get married, your whole world seems to revolve around your fiance. But when you start looking at honeymoon destinations, you have the actual whole world to start looking for a perfect destination. This site is in its infancy, but is here to highlight numerous honeymoon destinations. Below is a short list of possible vacations you can take within the United States. Forget the passport, forget customs, forget added expenses of traveling outside of the U.S. and consider one of these popular honeymoon destinations:
1. Hawaii will make you feel like you are traveling out of the country! It is definitely one of the top honeymoon locations. With eight islands, don’t think that you would just have to stay on the main island. You can take excursions to the nearby islands, enjoy some luxurious spas, the beaches, and the general beauty of the place. You can also enjoy some signature plates such as mahi-mahi or opakapaka. And you will most definitely experience one or more luaus.
2. Florida can be a great place to honeymoon as well. With Florida you can enjoy the beach and the sand within one of their numerous resorts. Palm Beach and Boca Raton can both be great choices.
3. Have you considered New York? Close to the busy city is the Catskill Mountains, it is a beautiful place with a nearby creek. In the summer you can enjoy the wild flowers growing abundantly throughout the area, and in the fall you enjoy the changing colors. If you are on a tight budget, but want a honeymoon getaway that will give you intimacy in the serene outdoors, you will enjoy the Catskill Mountains.
4. Las Vegas can be a tempting and enjoyable honeymoon destination. It can give you a little of everything: gambling, night life, cuisine, and shopping as well as top notch spas, private Jacuzzis, and romantic and intimate moments poolside.
