Not only can this save money but you can also take the time to appreciate the countryside and spend your travel time watching the scenery together.

While Paris or Venice may immediately come to mind, you may also want to consider Athens, Amsterdam, or even Dublin. Also, think about the kinds of activities you would like to do. Do you want to tour castles, museums, famous churches, and other famous landmarks or would you rather spend your honeymoon at the beach?
Does a hot air balloon ride sound like the most romantic thing you could do or would you rather rent bikes or motorcycles and explore the city on your own? Getting an idea ahead of time of what the two of you would like to do will help ensure that you have a great time and that your budget and your ideas are in line together.
